Pembroke residents approved a suite of local recreation and infrastructure improvements under Article 12, funded through the Community Preservation Act. The projects, recommended by the Community Preservation Committee, represent a $153,000 investment in town facilities.
The approved projects include $30,000 for the construction of new bocce courts at the Community Center and $50,000 for backstop netting at the Hobomock soccer fields. Additionally, voters approved $60,000 for equipment shed replacements at Madakis Street and Magoun Park, as well as $13,000 for a summer program storage office. All five project recommendations passed via voice vote.
